What happens if the company is not in Good Standing?

Docsbase Translation and Legalisation Services UK and Ireland will initially contact the Companies Registration Office to check the status of the company.  If the company is in good status the Certificate will be prepared and issued, however if there are any outstanding issues, an extract will instead be provided which confirms the current standing of the company.  Docsbase Translation and Legalisation Services UK and Ireland can review this extract with you and assist you in providing any outstanding documentation to the CRO to restore the company to Good Standing, where possible.  Once any requirements have been taken care of, the Certificate of Good Standing can then be issued.

Legalisation of Certificate of Good Standing

In the event that the Certificate of Good Standing needs to be legalised for use abroad, Docsbase Translation and Legalisation Services UK and Ireland can take care of this requirement as well. Legalising a document means that the signatures and stamps are authenticated as being genuine, after which they can be used abroad. This entails the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade providing Apostille legalisation, followed by the document being sent to the Consulate or Embassy of the country where the document is to be presented, for final legalisation. The legalisation process may seem complicated at first, but Docsbase Translation and Legalisation Services UK and Ireland have the inhouse expertise to take care of this from start to finish for you, returning the legalised Certificate of Good Standing to you once all appropriate signatures and stamps have  been provided.
